Pomegranate molasses are also known as Pomegranate Syrup or Pomegranate Sauce. Made by reducing pomegranate juice into a thick, sweet/sour syrup.
Try Pomegranate Syrup in sauces, casseroles, marinades, on ice cream, as a mixer or added to tea and diluted with water as a refreshing drink. Delicious tart flavour.
Recipe: Salad dressing: combine 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar or cider vinegar, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of pomegranate molasses and 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil in a bowl. Add crushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined, stir before each use.
