Burdock root dried herb
Burdock Root (also known as Gobo Root) is the root from the Burdock plant, and can be used in a range of drinks and food dishes.
Most people know Burdock as being one of the main ingredient in the drink, Dandelion and Burdock.
Burdock Root can be used in a variety of dishes, including soups, stews and stir fries, offering a sweet mild flavour.
It is also commonly used as a herbal ‘Tea’ infusion.
Use 1 heaped TEAspoon per cup required.
Place in pot.
Add boiling water.
Allow to infuse for 20-25 minutes.
Strain into a cup and enjoy.
Best taken without milk or Sugar.

Magical attributes or uses: Burdock Root has been used in spiritual applications as it is especially good for use in purification and protection, mostly against negativity and other magic.

Traditional Healing Beliefs: Herbalists in the past made poultices using Burdock to apply to bruises, burns and inflamed tissue.
Burdock has also been utilized in treating stomach afflictions, particularly indigestion.
Cosmetically, it has also been used in an assortment of treatments for stimulating hair growth, and applied in skin care treatments to help with eczema.
