The Dandelion plant contains a wealth of vitamins, including A, C, D and B-complex. It also has high levels of minerals like magnesium, zinc potassium, iron and calcium.
It is an excellent diuretic and is an aid to high blood pressure-related problems.
It makes a delicious and warming brew.
Use one heaped teaspoon per person, or add more to taste.
Add to a warmed pot and pour on hot water.
Allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes before straining into cups.
A sweetener may be added if required.
