The Spiceworks brings you our own Bombay Potato blend- allowing you to easily make this tasty side dish to your Curry (or simply use as a snack).
Our blends are made up at regular intervals, so they always arrive at your door bursting with freshness.
Bombay Potato blend – quick recipe
25g of The Spiceworks Bombay Potato blend
4 Large potatoes
2 large Onions
25 Butter/ Marg
1 tablespoon of oil
Scrub, peel and cut into quarters, then par boil.
Fry the chopped Onions in a little oil until they are soft ( a few minutes on medium heat-stir all the time to ensure that they do not stick).
Add The Spiceworks Bombay blend and fry gently for 2 minutes adding a little more oil if necessary.
Add the Butter/Marg then the Potatoes, ensuring that all the Potatoes are well coated by the spices.
Cook for approx 12-16 minutes (until the Potatoes are soft).
Core and dice the Tomatoes
Add the Tomatoes to the pan, heat through on low heat and serve.
