Yarrow dried herb -herbal tea infusion
Yarrow has a wide range of uses including temperature reduction in the early stages of fevers, flu and colds.
It’s a mildy bitter herb that can help with digestion. I’ve seen the suggestion of mixing it with elderflower and peppermint for colds and feverish conditions.
Historically, it was used as a vulnerary (meaning it helps in the cleansing and healing of wounds, cuts and ulcers) and was known as “soldier’s wound wort”.
A good blend is achieved using Yarrow and Elderflowers. (We also sell Elderflower & Yarrow herbal tea infusion).
Adding a little Honey may be required for some tastes.
You can also add a slice of Lemon if required, as this gives a ‘tang’ to the drink.
Or why not try adding some of our Natural Palm Sugar instead- a pure and natural sweetener?
Our Peppermint & Yarrow herbal tea infusion gives a really refreshing and tasty drink for anytime of the day or night.
Use 1 heaped teaspoon per cup required.
Place herb in pot.
Add boiling water.
Allow to infuse for 5-8 minutes.
Strain into a cup and enjoy.
