Horseradish root ground powder
This is the traditional English Beef dish accompanyment, as hot and fierce as you remember it.
Add Horseradish powder to stews and other dishes and experience its unique and subtle flavours- it will enrich any dish from whatever part of the world.
Rub a little powder onto the skin of meat before cooking in the oven, or add to a stuffing mix.
Add to vegetable dishes, fish and shellfish, tomato based sauces, sweet and savoury mixtures.
Make up your own Horseradish sauce by combining with a little hot water to make a paste.
Use as accompaniment to beef, steak, venison and fish dishes – blend 1 teaspoon of horseradish powder with 1 1/2 teaspoons of water.
You can always add Mayonnaise to this mixture so as to bulk it out.
Add 4 teaspoons per mix, or to taste.
Remember, a little goes a long way.
